Millions of state pensioners will be getting a special cash payment in time for Christmas.
The Christmas Bonus is separate from other support such as Winter Fuel Payments and the Warm Home Discount.
It's an extra £10 payment which arrives in bank accounts in the run-up to Christmas.

The aim is to provide a little more financial support over the expensive Christmas period.
While it may make a difference to some of the poorest pensioners, critics have dismissed the payment as essentially worthless these days.
It is also awarded to people on certain benefits such as PIP, Disability Living Allowance (DLA) and Attendance
