A major high street chain with more than 150 stores across the country is set to vanish from a UK town after it slid into financial collapse.

Claire’s, the accessories retailer known across Britain for its affordable jewellery, hair products and ear-piercing booths, is closing its Richmond branch in southwest London, as part of a wave of closures following the company’s bankruptcy in the United States, and it entering administration here in the UK, reports Express.co.uk.

The Richmond shop , a recognisable feature on the high street, has reportedly already been cleared out.
