NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A new report has revealed that the cost of child care is growing closer to the price of rent in Nashville and other cities in Tennessee.

LendingTree released a report on how infant care is outpacing the price of rent in several metropolitan areas across the U.S.

“The average monthly cost of infant care across the 100 largest U.S. metros is 25.3% lower than the average monthly cost of rent for a two-bedroom unit, while caring for an infant and a 4-year-old costs 31.5% more than rent,” LendingTree said.
