TIFFIN, Ohio —

Four people, including two children, have died in what police are investigating as a murder-suicide in Tiffin, Ohio, which is located about 45 miles southeast of Toledo.

It all unfolded around 6:24 p.m. Wednesday when Tiffin police responded to a home after getting a report of gunshots and screaming. Advertisement

When officers got to the scene, they found a man and two children suffering from gunshot wounds. A woman was also located uninjured but was "clearly in a state of shock, overwhelmed and visibly traumatized."

The man and one of the children were pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers attempted life-saving measures on the other child. Emergency responders took both the child and the mother to the hospital where the child later died from his injuries.
