The Cleveland Browns have officially signed DE Alex Wright to a 3-year, $33 million extension that includes $21 million in guaranteed money, according to the team and his agents.
Wright has been a key piece to Cleveland’s defensive line rotation over the past few seasons for Jim Schwartz and Co., being able to play every position, both inside and out. He was set to become a free agent when the new league year began in 2026, so Andrew Berry and the rest of the Browns organization wanted to make sure that they could get him locked up before the 2025 season ended.
He’s totaled 24 tackles, 9 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, 1 forced fumble, and has an overall PFF grade of 88.7 so far in 2025.
