An assistant principal at Kempsville High School was one of two men arrested Wednesday for threats against Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents and local police.

According to a news release from the Virginia Beach Police Department, John W. Bennett, 54, and Mark Bennett, 59, both of Virginia Beach, each face one charge of conspiracy to commit malicious wounding. Mark Bennett was arrested at 9:42 a.m. at Norfolk International Airport with the assistance of airport police. John Bennett was arrested in Virginia Beach about an hour later, police said.

The two men are brothers, according to a 2015 Virginian-Pilot obituary of Leonard B. Bennett.
