Single-vehicle crash results in 63-year-old Clarksville woman’s death

CLARKSVILLE -- A 63-year-old woman was killed in a single vehicle crash early Wednesday when her auto left the roadway and struck a tree.

Katherine Cook of Clarksville was southbound on Stillwell Road, also known as Johnson County Road 3451, when her 2003 Pontiac failed to negotiate a right curve and struck a tree, Arkansas State Police reported.

The crash occurred about 2:50 a.m. Wednesday north of Clarksville, according to State Police.

Road conditions were dry and the weather was clear at the time of the accident, police reported.
