MCHENRY COUNTY, Ill. — The cause of death for two people who were found dead in a vehicle in Crystal Lake has been revealed.
On the morning of Nov. 4, a man and a woman were found unconscious in a vehicle parked on the road in the 700 block of Coventry Lane in Crystal Lake.
Life-saving measures were unsuccessful, and the two were pronounced dead.
The woman was identified as 20-year-old Yeisimar Morales-Sanchez of Crystal Lake. The man was identified as 32-year-old Kirby Graham of Grayslake.
The McHenry County Coroner said the cause of death for Morales-Sanchez and Graham was carbon monoxide poisoning.
A malfunctioning exhaust system in the vehicle, driven by Graham, was said to have caused their deaths. The Coroner's Office said the deaths were accidental.
