VAN BUREN -- A South Carolina woman arrested by Arkansas State Police in March pleaded guilty last month to having no more than 25 pounds of marijuana and received a suspended sentence.
Lucy Desuyo Luzon Studer, 44, of North Charleston, S.C., entered a negotiated guilty plea as part of an agreement with prosecutors Oct. 29 to possession of between 4 ounces and 25 pounds of a controlled substance with the purpose to deliver, according to Crawford County Circuit Court records.
She received a six-year suspended prison sentence, which she will not have to serve if she abides by conditions of the negotiated plea, court records state.
Studer received credit for 233 days served in jail, documents show.
