MADISON (WKOW) -- The Dane County Sheriff's Office asked for the public's help searching for a woman declared AWOL from the jail diversion program.
Deputies received an alert around 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday from Laurel Alexander's GPS monitoring bracelet. They found she had removed her bracelet and left it behind.
Alexander, 42, was last known to be at East Terrace Drive in Madison. She could be driving a 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer.
The sheriff's office asks anyone who knows where Alexander is to call the Dane County Communications Center at 608-255-2345.
The jail diversion program allows inmates to be confined to their home or other approved housing, instead of the jail, with GPS monitoring.
