PARIS — LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton doubled down on plans to woo a new generation to careers in creative, craftsmanship and client-experience fields with a glitzy ceremony on Wednesday celebrating the specialist talents that power its 75 brands.

Rugby player Antoine Dupont kicked off the evening, held at LVMH headquarters here, by reading a letter written by one of the people designated as “Virtuoso” in their field since the program was launched five years ago. Each guest also found a handwritten note from a past winner on their seat.
