The music world has paid tribute to Manchester rock bassist Gary 'Mani' Mounfield after his death today.
Best known for being a member of the Stone Roses , Mounfield played on both the band's albums before later joining Primal Scream. However in 2011 he announced he would be leaving Primal Scream to reform the Stone Roses.
Following the announcement of the Crumpsall -born musician's death on Thursday (November 20), tributes have been flooding in from across the world of music in memory of the iconic star.
Fellow Stone Roses bandmate and lead singer Ian Brown has posted in memory of Mounfield this afternoon. In a short post on X, Brown wrote: "REST IN PEACE MANI X"
