Los Angeles, CA — Walt Disney Studios unveiled the teaser trailer this week for a much-anticipated live-action remake of a beloved animated movie that is only 98% animated.
With the upcoming release of Moana , rather than spending years developing and painstakingly computer-rendering an animated film, Disney opted to spend years developing and painstakingly computer-rendering a live-action film.
"This movie was almost entirely animated, but has a couple people in it, who we also touched up with CGI," boasted Disney CEO Bob Iger. "It's our most realistic simulation of what a live-action remake might look like, if it were actually made in real life."
