When senior Miles Khatri scored his first rushing touchdown of the 2025 season for Pike Road football against Russell County on Oct. 17, there wasn’t a celebration.

The second rushing touchdown for Khatri against Charles Henderson on Oct. 30 yielded the same result: zero celebration. The Pike Road senior couldn’t think of anything on the fly. After scoring his fourth rushing touchdown of the season in the Patriots second-round AHSAA football playoff game against Bessemer City, there was a ball spin in the end zone and a glare into a camera in the back of the end zone.
