GRADY COUNTY, Ga. (WCTV) - Grady County Human Resources Director, Dr. Jamie Horne, was announced as the new Grady County interim Superintendent by the Grady County School Board Thursday.

“The Board selected Dr. Horne because of his clear commitment to continuing the positive direction of the District already established,” the Grady Co. school board said in a press release.

The school board wrote in the press release that they selected Horne because he does not plan on applying to be Superintendent permanently. Horne is set to begin his interim position on December 1, per the media release.
