DOVER, N.H. —
An active police investigation Thursday closed a road near an elementary school in Dover.
No details of the investigation have been released, but officials said it was not connected to the school.
Some parents of students at Frances G. Hopkins Elementary School were notified that their children needed an alternate way to get home, but the superintendent said all students were safe.
The Dover superintendent sent out a notice around dismissal time saying that because of a law enforcement incident, buses for students who live in the area of New Rochester Road between Long Hill Road and Hotel Drive were suspended.
