FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Erin’s House for Grieving Children held an open house celebration for its newest space.
Located at 5608 YMCA Park Drive West, directly behind the organization’s main building, ‘The Wing’ is a space for teens and young adults between the ages of 18 and 25 who have experienced a death and are looking for support.
From 4 to 6 p.m., community members were invited to tour the space, enjoy light refreshments, and learn about the organization’s newest programs.
The celebration coincides with National Children’s Grief Awareness Day, which is November 20.
“What started as a vision in 2019 has now become a reality,” said Debbie Meyer, the organization’s Executive Director. “This space will allow young adults to connect with others who understand their grief and to find
