LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

NuLu shows no signs of slowing as a steady run of ribbon cuttings this month highlights rapid neighborhood growth.

Haymarket opened its newest location in NuLu, offering grab-and-go items, coffee, and fresh, locally grown produce. The owners said they chose the neighborhood because of the growing demand for walkable grocery options.

"We have been through a lot down here, and we’re really excited to continue the local buying scene here in Louisville and especially down in NuLu," said Katie Meinhart, of the NuLu Business Association.

The association said it has attended multiple ribbon cuttings in recent weeks and that the neighborhood remains net positive, with 20 new businesses set for 2026 and a return to pre-pandemic momentum.
