PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A top leader in the Arizona Attorney General’s Office is now out of a job because of an investigation by a federal law enforcement agency, the attorney general’s office confirmed on Thursday.

According to a spokesman for state Attorney General Kris Mayes’s office, Vanessa Hickman was placed on administrative leave on Nov. 13 after the U.S. Postal Inspection Service contacted the attorney general’s office about its probe.

The Attorney General’s Office said it cooperated with the federal investigation and Hickman resigned on Monday.
