SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine — The South Portland Police Department is reminding residents to lock their cars amid a recent increase in thefts.
In almost every case of theft, the car was left unlocked, according to a social media post from police.
Auburn police also reported an uptick in similar burglaries.
To keep your car safe, police said to lock doors, hide valuables, and report any suspicious activity.
