SHREVEPORT, La. — The KTBS 3 Minute Smile returned with festive energy on Thursday as Garrin Matthews, 9, raced through the toy aisles at Walmart in Shreve City.

Matthews, a homeschooled student from Athens, Louisiana, warmed up with KTBS anchors Alex Anderson and Brenda Teele before sprinting through the store. In just three minutes, he collected _______ worth of toys, bringing smiles to viewers and continuing the tone for the season.

The event is part of KTBS 3’s Spirit of Christmas campaign and is made possible by the sponsorship of Lincoln Nova Vital Recovery .
