BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Thanksgiving is one week away, and millions of Americans are planning for their holiday meal.

As Thanksgiving approaches, families preparing their holiday meals can expect to pay significantly more for the centerpiece of their dinner. Turkey prices have jumped 70% compared to last year, according to agricultural experts. Thanksgiving turkey prices are up 70% this year, due to avian flu and lower production.
