VINTON, La. (KPLC) - Lowell Farnsworth feels the music. You can find him on the bleachers on Friday nights, jamming out with his peers and cheering on the Vinton Lions.
“I just love making music so much,” Farnsworth said.
Music became an outlet during one of the hardest times of his life.
“Ever since I lost my sight, I’ve honestly been so in love with music,” he said.
When Lowell was just 10 years old, he lost his sight.
“My left eye stopped when I was really, really young, I guess like two or three. My right eye still worked. Then I started seeing problems with my right eye. Long story short, I had an infection in my right eye, and then I went blind. It was a hard moment for me,” Farnsworth said.
He had to relearn everyday tasks like walking around the house and reading.
