Detroit — The Detroit Pistons are no strangers to streaks. From 2020 to 2024 they had several losing streaks, evidence on how far the Pistons had fallen from their former glory, from one of the league's pristine franchises to an abyss.

The Pistons began to build a solid foundation during the 2024-25 season, winning 44 games and qualifying for the postseason for the first time in five years. At the start of training camp in October, the primary question the Pistons faced was how to build on last year's success, but 15 games into this season, Detroit has exceeded even the most optimistic expectations.
