Sluggish at the outset for the second game in a row, Indiana was able to pull away from Lindenwood in the second half Thursday at Assembly Hall, winning 73-53 behind 25 points from Tucker DeVries on 5-for-10 shooting from 3-point range.

DeVries scored 17 of his points in the second half after going just 2 for 7 from the floor in the first 20 minutes. The Hoosiers went 9 for 28 from beyond the arc as a team after a 5-for-24 performance in a tepid win over Incarnate Word on Sunday.

IU improved to 5-0, remaining undefeated under first-year coach Darian DeVries, despite giving up 19 offensive rebounds and getting outdone on the glass 48-44 overall.
