CHEYENNE — Cheyenne City Council members are considering expanding the types of solicitation prohibited at homes with a “no solicitors” sign posted on the property.
The amendment to Section 5.76.050 of Municipal Code, which covers residential door-to-door solicitor restrictions and prohibited practices, would also change the permissible hours for soliciting and clarify existing code.
Violators can face up to six month in jail and/or a fine of up to $750.
The ordinance came before the City Council’s Finance Committee at a meeting Tuesday.
