BAINBRIDGE, Ga. (WALB) - Three defendants in two separate cases have been convicted of serious violent offenses within a two-week trial term, District Attorney Joseph K. Mulholland said in a release.

The release said that Darrin Bernard Nundra was convicted in a 2024 homicide case. Samuel Ryan Smith and India Adel Snicale were convicted in a 2023 shooting case.

In the homicide case, Nundra was convicted of:

Felony murder

Aggravated assault

Tampering with evidence

These charges stem from the Oct. 14, 2024, homicide of Mitchell Jerome Murrell, Jr.

Nundra was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole, the release said.
