More allegations have surfaced against the teachers at the Delhi St Columba's School, where the class 10 student who committed suicide on Wednesday studied. A class 10 student, Shaurya Pradeep Patil, died by jumping from the platform of Rajendra Place Metro Station in Central Delhi after leaving a note blaming his teacher.
According to his father, the boy had alleged persistent mental trauma from school staff. “A few days ago, he fell on stage during dance practice. But the teacher taunted him, saying, "Cry all you want, I don't care." This incident left Shaurya deeply saddened. When his family complained, the school threatened to expel him,” local media reports quoted members of the Patil family.
