CLEMSON, S.C. —
(Clemson Athletics) The Clemson United (8-6-3) concluded their season after a 1-0 loss vs Western Michigan (8-9-4) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
Ransford Gyan was awarded the first opportunity to net a goal for the Tigers after a free kick came on a foul by the Broncos. The shot sailed high and the score stayed 0-0. Abdou Mane took the second shot of the night for Clemson but just a little too far the right held the score at 0-0. In the 20' Western Michigan took a 1-0 lead. The Tigers concluded the first half out shooting the Broncos 7-2.
