In four weeks, the Planning Board will again take up the matter of the Trader Joe’s grocery store proposed for 647 Falmouth Road, adjacent to Shellback Way. The holidays are fast approaching, and we know how quickly the rest of the year slips by once Thanksgiving comes and goes. The Wednesday, December 17, public hearing on the development will be here before we know it, and there are some considerations that we think the town should take into account when the hearing picks back up.

First and foremost, the town would be remiss to not conduct its own independent traffic study of the area.
