Demolition of part of Hertford Street for the City Centre South project is now almost completed. Contractors have removed the staircase to make way for a new accessibility ramp near CeX.
City Centre South is a £450m project designed to deliver a mixed-use development featuring approximately 1,500 homes, shops, and community spaces, as reported by CoventryLive . It is being led by the Hill Group.
Construction of the new Hertford Street ramp is 'progressing well' and is scheduled to open to the public next Monday (November 24). Project Director Stuart Bale said it will enhance accessibility for pedestrians and those with mobility needs.
