Due to worsening air quality in the National Capital Region, the Delhi government’s Directorate of Education and Directorate of Sports have ordered an immediate suspension of all physical sports activities in schools and educational institutions until further notice. This measure is deemed essential to protect the health of children and athletes.

According to the new directive, all government, government-aided, and private recognised schools under the Delhi government, including NDMC, MCD, and Delhi Cantonment Board schools, universities, colleges, and recognised sports associations, must strictly comply with this order.
