India’s World Cup hero Smriti Mandhana surprised fans on Thursday by announcing her engagement to music composer Palash Muchhal, and she did it in the most Smriti way possible: through a playful, choreographed Instagram reel with her India teammates.

The viral video featured Mandhana dancing alongside Jemimah Rodrigues , Shreyanka Patil, Radha Yadav and Arundhati Reddy to the upbeat track “Samjho Ho Hi Gaya” from Lage Raho Munna Bhai. What initially looked like a light-hearted team dance suddenly turned into a big moment when Mandhana flashed her engagement ring, finally confirming the rumours that had been circulating for months.
