Pune, November 21, 2025: “Advanced technology, clinical competence, and the reassuring touch of a compassionate human hand—this is what defines an excellent nurse. While we are working towards ensuring fair remuneration, dignity, and safety for nurses, it must be underscored that no technology, including artificial intelligence, can ever replace the role of a nurse,” said Dr Annie Kumar, National President of The Trained Nurses’ Association of India (TNAI).
She was addressing a press briefing after inaugurating the three-day 31st Biennial National Nursing Conference, jointly organized by The Trained Nurses Association of India and TNAI Maharashtra State Branch and hosted by MAEER’s VishwaRaj Institute of Nursing, at the World Peace Dome, VishwaRajbaug, Loni Kalbhor.
