The Central Railway will operate two special suburban services early on Sunday for participants of the Navy Half Marathon 2025, organised by the Western Naval Command (WNC). The overnight services on the Main and Harbour lines are aimed at providing convenient connectivity for runners travelling towards South Mumbai ahead of the event.
On the Main line, a special train will depart from Kalyan at 2.30 am and arrive at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) at 4 am. On the Harbour line, another special service will leave Panvel at 2.40 am and also reach CSMT at 4 am. Both services will halt at all stations along their respective routes, ensuring access for participants boarding from intermediate locations.
