South Africa’s pace spearhead Kagiso Rabada has been ruled out of the second Test against India starting on Saturday, as he has not fully recovered from the rib injury sustained during a training session before the series opener.
“Kagiso has been ruled out of the second Test," confirmed Proteas skipper Temba Bavuma, who also noted that Rabada missed the first Test in Kolkata, which the visitors won by 30 runs.

Bavuma observed that the Guwahati track appeared to be a typical sub-continental wicket, favouring batting for the first couple of days before becoming advantageous for slow bowlers.
