Micky van de Ven tops the all-time Premier League speed charts, but Sol Campbell reckons he was just as quick.
Tottenham Hotspur centre-back Van de Ven recorded the fastest speed in the history of the Premier League in January 2024.
The Dutchman clocked a stunning 37.38km/h during a 3-2 home win against Brentford.
Former Spurs star Kyle Walker is closest to Van de Ven with 37.31km/h, with Wolves man Jackson Tchatchoua hitting 37.3km/h this season.
However, speaking to talkSPORT ahead of the north London derby between Arsenal and Spurs on Sunday, Campbell lauded his own speed from his playing days.
Host Charlie Baker asked him if he ever played with a fellow centre-back who was as fast as the record-breaking Van de Ven.
