Two individuals have been discovered dead at a property in Huddersfield, with officers treating the fatalities as "unexplained".

West Yorkshire Police rushed to the scene at 2.47pm on Thursday following concerns for the welfare of residents in the South Crosland area of Huddersfield. Local residents spotted numerous police vehicles and forensic specialists in the Church Lane vicinity that evening.

Authorities have now confirmed they discovered the bodies of a man and woman inside the property and are currently probing the circumstances
