A veteran broadcaster has hit out at BBC bosses after being axed from a major show. ‌

In a huge shake-up at BBC Radio Scotland, music journalist and presenter Billy Sloan's Saturday night show has been dropped by the broadcaster. ‌

The former Radio Clyde star currently plays rock and pop music to audiences on the station every week at 10pm, however, that is set to change at the end of this year when his show is canned. ‌

Four BBC presenters , including Billy Sloan, Roddy Hart, Iain Anderson and Natasha Raskin Sharp, will have their shows dropped within the next month

It comes six months after the appointment of the new head of Radio Scotland - Victoria Easton-Riley, the previous director of content for Bauer for Scotland and Northern Ireland.
