She's facing a wrongful death suit from the family of her Boston police officer boyfriend John O'Keefe, who died in 2022.

Read was charged with killing O'Keefe, but was acquitted at her retrial earlier this year.

This week, she sued a group of people she says framed her , and some of the investigators in the case are even involved in that suit.

The information contained in the lawsuit, filed Monday in Bristol Superior Court, includes a rehash of information Read’s team has presented both during her criminal cases and in media interviews. It names former Trooper Michael Proctor in his personal capacity, Sgt. Yur
