An incident, reportedly involving workers of Raj Thackeray-led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), has attracted a significant amount of attention online. The now-viral video shows MNS workers allegedly assaulting a Hindi-speaking man. The incident reportedly took place in Navi Mumbai’s Vashi area.

It all began after a Marathi woman accused the man of “misbehaving" with her at workplace. He was then called to the MNS party office by a local leader, where he was slapped repeatedly.

According to a report by India TV, MNS workers claimed that the man, identified as Ramesh Shukla, had abused the woman and behaved inappropriately during an argument.
