The former superintendent of a Warren school district admitted to having a gun in her vehicle in a school parking lot as part of a deal that will likely result in the criminal charge likely to be dismissed in a year.
Hollie Stange, 39, pleaded guilty Thursday to possessing a weapon in a school safety zone, a 93-day misdemeanor, after an incident at Fitzgerald High School. The plea was made in 37th District Court in Warren after two marijuana-related charges against her were dismissed last June and September. The plea was taken under advisement by Judge John Chmura and will be dismissed in one year if Stange does not have any negative contact with law enforcement.
