NEW CUMBERLAND – A Newell man is in the West Virginia Northern Regional Jail following a report of a man being shot at his residence early Wednesday morning.
Mark Fuller, 58, of Harrison Street in Newell, faces charges of wanton endangerment with a firearm and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling.
He currently is being held in the West Virginia Northern Regional Jail in Moundsville, with bonds set at $7,500 on the felony wanton endangerment charge and $2,500 on the misdemeanor discharge of a firearm charge, according to online court records.
The Hancock County Sheriff’s Department reported receiving a report around 1 a.m. Wednesday of a man shot at a residence on Harrison Street in Newell, initially being told a person was cleaning a gun and it went off.
