A 34-year-old Kingston resident has been arrested and charged after Kingston Police found material related to child sexual abuse and exploitation in their possession.

According to police, a search warrant was executed on the morning of Nov. 20 at a home on Princess Street. Article content

As a result of the investigation and subsequent search warrant, the 34-year-old was arrested and charged in relation to the possession, making available, and sharing of Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Material.

The accused was transported to Kingston Police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.
