“Confronting” footage of the moment an ex-boxer knocked a man out for nine minutes, leaving him hospitalised with skull fractures for nine days, has been revealed.

Kerrey James Foley, 37, has avoided jail after assaulting a 55-year-old at a rock gig at the Label nightclub in Sydney’s Northern Beaches on March 9 last year.

Footage released by the NSW District Court on Friday shows the moment the former boxer’s feet lift from the ground as he lands a single blow to the older man’s head.

Judge Jane Culver previously remarked Foley was “airborne” as he lunged forward and punched the victim, adding the man appeared to be unconscious before he hit the ground.
