For a program not far removed from going nearly four years between district wins, the McKinney Boyd girls basketball team made steady gains over their first two seasons under head coach Kellen Hearn.

The Lady Broncos won at least 14 games for the second straight year, including a 6-10 run in 6-6A that marked the program’s winningest district campaign since the 2011-12 season.
