MESQUITE, Texas — Warehouse club chain BJ's Wholesale Club is planning its fifth Texas location in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

BJ's Wholesale announced Friday it's plans for a new location in Mesquite and another in Foley, Alabama. The Mesquite location will mark the company's fifth location in Texas. Earlier this year, the club broke ground on a planned location in Forney at U.S. Highway 80 and Gateway Boulevard within the Villages at Gateway development.

The company says each new club is expected to create 100-150 jobs in their respective communities.

The company previously announced plans to open 25-30 new clubs in fiscal years 2025 and 2026, including its remaining fiscal 2025 openings in Sumter, South Carolina; Springfield, Massachusetts; Casselberry, Florida; Selma, North Caroli
