6-Year-Old Struck By Car In Norwalk; Police Asking For Witnesses

A 6-year-old child was hit by a car after running into traffic earlier this week, and police are asking for help gathering more information.

The incident happened around 3:46 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 20, on Seaview Avenue in Norwalk.

Multiple people called 911 to report the crash. Police arrived to find the child lying on the sidewalk. Paramedics rushed the child to Norwalk Hospital with serious injuries, police said.

The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with police.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the crash.
