BJP leader Samrat Choudhary has become the new Home Minister of Bihar after Chief Minister Nitish Kumar gave up the key portfolio he held for around two decades.
As per the portfolio distribution announced today, Samrat Choudhary has got the home department, while the JDU has been alloted the finance.

According to an official notification, JDU leader Bijendra Prasad Yadav has been named as the finance minister of Bihar.
Nitish Kumar, who took oath as the Chief Minister for the record 10th term on Thursday, has kept general administration department, cabinet secretariat, and vigilance portfolios.
