The city of Cleveland’s new pay transparency law has employers changing how they approach hiring to focus on equality.
The law was created by Cleveland City Council in April and it went into effect on Oct. 27. It stipulates that all private employers in the city of Cleveland with at least 15 employees must now list a pay range when advertising job openings.
“Mayor Bibb and his administration, in partnership with City Council, are proud to champion the Pay Transparency Legislation.
